Too excited to take a proper photo 🤣
Just got these guys in for a great price! Based on the clothes they look to be the USA Originals from 1987 💕 I've been hunting for the raccoons for a while and I needed the rabbits and bears too! So excited to be expanding my vintage collection 😍 plus some lovely mapletown furniture

Timbertop Brown Bear Family
Father - Taylor Timbertop
Older sister - Ivy Timbertop
Brother - Bud Timbertop
Sister - Daisy Timbertop
Older brother - Birch Timbertop
Taylor Timbertop is a great big softy who adores his children, showering them with hugs and kisses whenever he gets the chance. He is always ready to change a nappy or help with homework, not that he is very good at either.
Older Sister Ivy loves sewing and needlepoint. The first shirt she made was for her father; it was not one of her better creations! Taylor claims it's his favourite shirt and would never take it off, if Rose didn't insist on washing it!
Younger Brother Bud is very keen on all types of sport. Whether it's swimming, running, jumping, rugby or tennis. Bud is always the first in line. He spends every spare moment training for this or that sport, all in the hope that one day he'll win a race or game and therefore a silver cup, which he would give to his mother.
Younger Sister Daisy wants to be older so she can cook without her mother's help or sew without her sister's help. Maybe, if she were older and taller, her father would stop calling her 'his little cherub!'
Older Brother Birch is a great explorer; he knows every path, trail, cave, hollow tree and inch of the Sylvanian woods. He is adding all this knowledge to the collection of maps and diagrams that he is busily creating.

A Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters survey for the fun!
Ok, I’m just bored and wanted to do something fun to know each others collection! Anyone feel free to reblog with your answers! (* ^ ω ^) (mine are under the “read more”)
-When did you got your first Sylvanian/CC?
-Who was your first SF/CC?
-Which was your first family (complete or almost)?
Did you had any as a child? And/or did you like them?
Was their a character/item you really wanted but never got as a child?
Did you watched the cartoon? Did you watch it now?
Who is your favorite character/family?
Any character/family you don’t like?
Do you have any fakes or off-brand?
Do you have any houses/buildings or do you just have the figures?
Did you make things for them? (clothes, furnitures, or customs?)
What is your most wanted family/building/Set?
Do you have any family/character/set you are dying to see being made?
What is your most rare/expensive piece in your collection?
What do you like most about SF/CC?
And what do you dislike?
Quick! You could have one family for free right now! Which one did you grab?
Would you like a collab/crossover with something else?
If you could be teleported into their world, what animal would you be?
Bonus question, if you would like to say anything else ^^
And now my answers if anyone wanted to know ^^
I was probably 4 or 5 years old (early 90′s)
I don’t remember my very first but I remember that I had a Timbertop brown bear, a Babblebrook grey rabbit and a striped catwood very early in my childhood (probably some others that I forgot)
My first (almost) complete family is the cat-wood family (I am missing a baby girl)
As I said in the fist 2 questions, I had a few characters, and really like to play with them in my dollhouse
Not really
No, but I watched “Maple Town/Palm Town” cartoon and used to think it was the same thing! Now I watch the episodes on youtube
It’s hard to choose! I love the frogs, the ducks, the cows, the alpacas...
I don’t really like the guinea pigs. They looks... off?
No, no fakes but I have a lot of Maple Town, Forest Families and other "brands” (maybe they can count as fakes?)
Yes, I have 2 bookshelves with houses
I have made some clothes but I’m not really good with sewing small things. I have also made some custom characters!
Right now, it’s probably the wildboard dad! I really want the adult ducks too!
So many! My most wanted is a highland cow family (I already draw them!), but I would also want bats, manatee, bobcats, platipus ...
I would say the frogs? They not that rare but are probably my rarest? I’m not sure!
I like their cuteness, the old-timey look. Their are small so it’s easy to store them (not he houses obviously! )
The prices! lol (and it’s hard to fing the olders sets)
The white otters? Just because I could never have them otherwise! XD
I would love a Sanrio collabs! With cute pastel and fairy kei sets!
I already have an OC made, it’s a tricolors cat! So I’ll be her ^^
(=^ω^=)

These ‘stories’ have since been lost to time but I distinctly remember two episodes one involving the mother of the timbertop bear family being found dead in the bath tub and the other detailing the cottontail rabbit daughter’s body being found in the coal shed. I’m honestly shocked no one took me to a child psychiatrist.
When I was a kid I made a series of sylvanian family stop motion murder mysteries on my mums digital camera so all I’m saying is that if I had access to tiktok as a macabre 9 year old that’s what I would have been doing.
#I think it’s because no one understood what my films were about#this was all in my cousins donated to me dolls house btw#sylvanian families

got these very cute bears in the mail today! i’m pretty sure they’re timbertop bears though i don’t recognise their clothes, and since some of the furniture that came with them is maple town their clothes might not even be sylvanian clothes - especially as mr timbertop’s shirt is a little small for him. all of the bears have patches of flocking worn away, especially ivy, who has almost no flocking left on her feet! hopefully this can be fixed.
information about this family:
Mrs. Rose Timbertop loves kids so much that sometimes it's hard to tell which ones are hers and which ones are visiting. But Mama Rose knows!
Mr. Taylor Timbertop is a wonderful dad. He hugs all six of his kids so much that the Sylvanian Families call him "Daddy Hugs". In the 1988 Annual, it is stated that Taylor teaches math.
Older Sister Ivy loves to sew. Daddy still wears the first shirt she ever made for him. Ivy's always embarrassed because she made the arms too long.
